C229A Q&A

 General Operation

Q: The player won't turn on even when I turn the knob.

A: Try charging the player using the included USB-C cable and a 5V 2A adapter. You’ll see a red light while it’s charging, which will turn blue once it's fully charged (usually takes about 4 hours).

Q: The music pauses or the player shuts down on its own during playback.

A: Press both the Previous and Next track buttons, then press the M button to switch the device to "ALL" repeat mode.

Q: The audio is skipping.

A: Try a different disc that is clean and scratch-free. Make sure you are using supported formats: CD, MP3, CD-R, or CD-RW.

Q: The screen says “0000” and there’s no sound.

A: Turn the power off, swap in a different disc, and restart the player.

Q: It says "No CD."

A: Make sure the disc format is supported (CD, MP3, CD-R, or CD-RW) and that the audio files are in CD-DA, MP3, or WMA format.

Q: The CD won't play at all.

A: Try a newer disc. Ensure it is a supported format (CD/MP3/CD-R/CD-RW) and uses supported audio encoding (CD-DA/MP3/WMA).

Q: My TF card recording keeps cutting out.

A: Make sure there is enough storage space on the card for the recording, or try using a TF card with a larger capacity.

Q: The TF card isn't working.

A: Double-check that your files are in a supported format (MP3, FLAC, WMA, WAV, AAC, or APE). If they are, try using a different TF card.

Q: After finishing one CD, the player stops spinning after the second track of the next one.

A: Don’t worry—this is a intentional part of the player's design and is completely normal.

 Bluetooth Connectivity

Q: I can't get it to pair with my external speaker.

A: Make sure the player’s Bluetooth (either transmission or reception) is turned on and your speaker is in pairing mode. The connection can take 10–60 seconds. If it still won't connect, long-press the Next track button to disconnect and clear the pairing history.

Q: My Bluetooth connection keeps dropping or won't connect at all.

A: Keep the devices within 10 meters (33 feet) of each other and clear any obstacles. Hold the Next track button for 3–5 seconds to reset the Bluetooth settings and try pairing again.

Q: What is the Bluetooth version and range?

A: This device uses Bluetooth V5.3. The effective range is about 10 meters (roughly 33 feet) in an open space without obstacles.

 Charging & Battery

Q: It won’t charge.

A: Confirm you’re using a USB-C cable with a 5V 2A power adapter. If that’s correct, try gently cleaning the charging port to remove any dust or debris.

Q: The screen says “Lo.”

A: This means the battery is low. Please plug the player into charge immediately.

Q: Can I use the player while it's charging?

A: We don't recommend it. Using the player while it’s plugged in can shorten the overall lifespan of the lithium battery.
